De Gruyter eBound is a 501 (c) (3) public foundation established in 2022 to support the work of nonprofit scholarly monograph publishers. As the owner and administrator of UPLOpen, De Gruyter eBound recognizes the importance of trust and accountability to our stakeholders in the scholarly publishing community.
We assure our stakeholders that we will maintain transparency in our financial practices, providing clear and accessible information regarding revenue sources as well as the allocation and utilization of resources. Our financial statements will be prepared in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
We are likewise committed to transparency in our operations, striving to keep our stakeholders informed about the decisions and activities that impact UPLOpen and the wider scholarly publishing community. We will actively engage these stakeholders through open communication channels, seeking their feedback to improve our practices and better serve the needs of the community.
